This week Year Four visited Ribchester Roman museum to support this Half term's learning on The Romans. Ribchester museum has one of the most educational and interesting Roman displays in the northwest and a collection of Roman artefacts unrivalled in Lancashire.
The children enjoyed a day learning about The Romans. They spent the day immersed in all things Roman starting with an Introductory talk and some object handling. The children were also given the chance to dress up in Roman Armour .The day also included a visit to the remains of the fort to investigate what Roman life would really have been like and a tour of the museum to look at the exhibits.
Lewis, year 4, said " I really enjoyed the trip, my favourite part was visiting the Roman baths and seeing the remains so that I could imagine what it was have been like in the past"
