Future Focus for our Year 9 & 10 students as they visit the annual Skills North West Event!

Another successful couple of days at the Skills North West careers event in Manchester!

On Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th March, our Year 9's and Year 10's took part in a wide range of activities designed to deepen their understanding of the vast array of career opportunities open to them. A number of representatives from many different colleges, universities and businesses were on hand throughout the two days to inform our students about what the future could hold.

As a result of the event, our students returned to Unity inspired and motivated to start seriously thinking about the choices that are available to them following their GCSE exams. Such as apprenticeships, further education, employment and other training opportunities.

Skills North West is the region's largest careers and skills event and is sponsored by the National Careers Service.
