On Wednesday 28th January, our Year 8 and 9 spent the afternoon at Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the annual Careers Convention.
A total of three halls were filled with stalls and presentation displays. Each of which were housed by various businesses, colleges and further education providers. Our students were encouraged to join in the various activities each company had to offer, from flying an Apache Helicopter with the RAF to practicing nail manicures with the B&FC Hair & Beauty Department!
The aim of the trip was to try and expand our students' knowledge of different career paths in preparation for their options.
