Supporting Your Child's History Journey
At Unity Academy, our History curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and help students understand the world they live in by exploring the past. To help you support your child's learning at home, we have provided links to curated search results on BBC Bitesize and YouTube for every year group. By exploring these topics together, you can help reinforce the "big ideas" they are learning in the classroom—from local Blackpool landmarks in Key Stage 1 to the complex global challenges of the 20th Century in Key Stage 4.
