Reception have been writing letters!

The children in reception have been practising their letter writing over the last couple of weeks. After reading The Jolly Postman and watching The Journey of a letter, the children really wanted to have a go themselves. The children in school have written home and the children at home have written into school. The children thought about what they wanted to say, worked hard on their letter formation so that it can be easily read and got it ready for posting. One of the enrichment activities in Reception is to post a letter so the children went on a trip to the postbox to make sure their letter got posted safely to their loved ones. Thank you to all the parents who have sent photographs in of the children working from home, we will make sure that these are stuck into their enrichment passports.
