Year 3 visit Blackpool Town Hall!

Our Primary students from Year 3 we’re given the opportunity to visit the Town Hall in Blackpool this week.

The trip provided many learning opportunities, as first hand experiences will help develop their ability to write recounts in literacy.

 

 

It also helped develop their social, moral and cultural understanding. For example - Historical knowledge and to be made aware of local key figures and features within our local community.

 

 

The students were given the chance to both view and handle real life artifacts, as well as speak to town hall workers and pose questions stemming from their curiosity.
