On Friday, Our GCSE Geography students were out on a field trip in the Trough of Bowland.

The purpose of the trip was for our pupils to study the River Wyre, in order to see how it changes from its source.

By being hands on, and witnessing it first hand allowed the pupils to relate everything they learnt on the day, to the activity itself, therefore being a very effective way of learning.

Also, the students had to work closely together in order to obtain the correct results, which resulted in the day being a very good team bonding session for both the students and staff.

In Unity We Succeed.
